Terms and conditions
A Gift an Explorer donation provides:
- A one-year Impala membership to one or more viewers of your choice or randomly selected from a pool of viewers who've indicated they would like to receive such a membership.
- Each $83.88 donated will provide a Gift an Explorer membership to someone.
Eligibility
- Donors must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age at the date of donation or acceptance, respectively.
Conditions
- All Gift an Explorer payments are non-refundable.
- Should a nominated recipient not register to receive a gifted membership within a period of one month from the date of your payment, we will add your gift to the pool, and allocate it at our discretion, to another recipient.
- If you send multiple gifts to the same recipient, their Explorer access will be further extended by one year for each additional gift sent.
- If you gift a membership to someone who is already an Explorer, we will contact you and offer an option to assign it to someone else or add your donation into the pool. Should the designated recipient's Explorer membership allow your donation to be applied as a credit to their existing membership, we will also offer you the option to apply the donated amount as a credit to their account.
Confidentiality
- By purchasing or accepting an Explorer membership the donor and recipient authorise WildEarth to collect, store and use their personal information for administrative and communication purposes.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law:
- The donor hereby indemnifies WildEarth, its associated companies, directors, officers, employees, and agents against any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of any kind, regardless of how this was caused, and whether it arose under the law of contract or delict or otherwise, because of the purchase, acceptance or redemption of a gift membership.
- WildEarth reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of the donor's and recipient's provided information (including but not limited to a participant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to reject any participant who has not complied with these Terms and Conditions. Errors and omissions may be accepted at WildEarth’s discretion. Failure by WildEarth to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
